The short answer
Dentures are removable replacements for missing teeth. Full dentures replace an entire arch, partial dentures fill gaps between remaining natural teeth, and implant-supported dentures snap onto implants for maximum stability. Pacific Dental Group in Montebello designs dentures for natural appearance and comfort, and accepts Denti-Cal and most PPO plans.

What’s the difference between full and partial dentures?
A full denture replaces every tooth in the upper or lower arch and rests on the gums. A partial denture clasps onto your remaining natural teeth to fill gaps, helping prevent those teeth from drifting.
Why do dentures get loose over time?
Without tooth roots, the jawbone gradually shrinks. A denture that fit perfectly five years ago may now rock or rub. A reline, a new denture or implant support can restore a secure fit.
Traditional vs. implant-supported dentures
| Factor | Traditional denture | Implant-supported |
|---|---|---|
| Stability | Relies on suction/adhesive | Snaps securely to implants |
| Chewing power | Reduced | Much closer to natural |
| Bone loss | Continues | Slowed |
| Cost | Lower | Higher |
