New patients
Your first visit, step by step
No lectures, no surprises. Here’s exactly what happens when you join our practice.

Before you arrive
Complete forms online, have your insurance card and photo ID handy, and list any medications. Arrive 10 minutes early.
Check-in & benefits
Our bilingual front desk verifies your insurance and explains coverage so there are no surprises.
Digital X-rays & photos
Low-radiation digital X-rays and intraoral photos let you see exactly what we see.
Exam with the dentist
A full check of teeth, gums, bite, jaw joints and an oral cancer screening.
Cleaning
If your gums are healthy, your hygienist completes a routine cleaning the same day.
Your written plan
Leave with prioritized options, costs and financing choices. You decide what happens next.
How long is the first appointment?
Plan on 60 to 90 minutes for check-in, X-rays, exam and cleaning.
What should I bring?
Photo ID, your insurance card, a list of medications and any recent dental X-rays you have.
Can I get a cleaning on the first visit?
Usually yes. If we find gum disease, we’ll recommend a deep cleaning at a follow-up visit instead.
I’m nervous. What can I do?
Tell us when you book. We can schedule extra time, explain each step before it happens and discuss sedation options.
Ready for a calmer kind of dental visit?
New patients get a comprehensive exam, cleaning and X-rays for $59. Most PPO plans and Denti-Cal accepted.
